The distributor has picked up US rights to Mamoru Oshii’s sci-fi and plans an October 2 day-and-date theatrical and VOD launch.
Oshii, the director behind 1995’s Ghost In The Shell, directed the live-action-CGI hybrid from a screenplay he co-wrote with Geoffrey Gunn.
Garm Wars: The Last Druid centres on a trio of adventurers from a world on the brink of collapse who set out to find the truth about their existence.
Newcomer Melanie St-Pierre stars alongside Kevin Durand and Lance Henriksen
Makoto Asanuma, Tetsu Fujimura, Mitsuhisa Ishikawa and Lyse Lafontaine produced.
