The company has also revealed further details about some of its forthcoming productions.

Ulrich Seidl’s long-gestating sex tourism film Paradise is now set to be released as three separate feature films. The entire project should be ready in time for Cannes and it is conceivable that the trilogy could screen there. Company founder and manager Philippe Bober is yet to decide whether the three films will be sold together - or on a title by title basis.

Here in Berlin, Bober has confirmed the title of Roy Andersson’s new feature - the the third part of the trilogy that also includes Songs From The Second Floor and You The Living. The new film (likely to be ready next year) is to be called A Pigeon On A Branch Reflecting On Existence.

Bober was in Rotterdam last week where Ruben Östlund’s new project Tourist was presented at CineMart. The €2.75m tragicomedy is being produced through Erik Hemmendorff’s Plattform Produktion. CoProduction Office is a partner on the project alongside Essential Filmproduktion. Film I Vast has already boarded the film.

Ostlund’s previous feature play has been winning multiple prizes and racking up sales. In Cannes, it went to Belgium / Luxembourg (Lumière), Netherlands (Eye Film Institute), CIS (Maywin), Middle East (Irib Media Trade). Since then, deals have also been concluded with Denmark (Ost for Paradies), Greece (Artplex Attica), Bulgaria (A Plus), Hungary (Anjou La Fayette), Poland (Against Gravity), Romiania (SC Clorofilm), Australia / New Zealand (Madman), Spain (Baditri).
