The Film Arcade and Cinedigm have acquired US rights to Jill Soloway’s award-winning feature directorial debut Afternoon Delight. Premiere Entertainment Group will handle international sales in Cannes.

The Film Arcade will release the film theatrically and Cinedigm will handle all ancillary distribution on the comedy, which won the directing award in the US Dramatic Competition at Sundance and stars Juno Temple, Josh Radnor, Jane Lynch and Kathryn Hahn.

Afternoon Delight centres on a bored young housewife who “adopts” a stripper as the family nanny. Jen Chaiken and Sebastian Dungan produced through their company 72 Productions.

UTA’s Rena Ronson and Hailey Wierengo of UTA Independent Film Group and Linda Lichter and Jamie Feldman of Lichter, Grossman, Nichols, Adler & Feldman represented the film on behalf of the filmmakers.
