Cinedigm, Rapid Eye sign output deal

Marco Weber’s Rapid Eye Film (REF) will produce, co-produce or acquire three to four genre films a year pursuant to the deal and manage marketing.

Cinedigm will be involved in all stages of production and handle theatrical and home entertainment release and oversee distribution strategy on each film.

REF recently released the low-budget feature California Scheming (pictured) starring Gia Mantegna and Chad Lowe. Weber wrote and directed.

Weber and attorney Paul Mayersohn of Surpin and Mayersohn negotiated the deal with Cinedigm evp of acquisitions Yolanda Macias.
