German sales outfit takes Mark Jackson’s debut drama

Berlin-based sales company M-appeal has picked up its first US feature, US director Mark Jackson’s drama Without.

Joslyn Jensen plays a young woman who becomes caretaker to an elderly man in a vegetative state on a remote island.

The film got its international premiere at the Locarno International Film Festival, with upcoming festival berths including the BFI London IFF, Vancouver IFF, Reykjavik IFF and Ghent IFF.
