Saint Juste Films has picked up worldwide rights to Evgeny Afineevsky’s family comedy OyVey! My Son Is Gay!starring Lainie Kazan, Saul Rubinek and Carmen Electra.

Mark Saint Juste’s Saint Juste Films has picked up worldwide rights to Evgeny Afineevsky’s family comedy Oy Vey! My Son Is Gay! starring Lainie Kazan, Saul Rubinek and Carmen Electra.

Saint Juste will also handle the US distribution of the film in an “aggressive” platform release on Oct 1 this year. Specialised indie veterans MJ Peckos of Mitropoulos Films, Steven Raphael of Required Viewing and Susan Jackson of Turtles Crossing will consult on the marketing and distribution for the release of the film.

The film, written, produced and directed by Afineevsky, tells the story of a Long Island Jewish family and their response to the news that their beloved son is in love with a man. Svetlana Anufrieva, Igor Zektser and Rich Cowan produced with Afineevsky.
