British producer joins Michael Fassbender’s DMC Film.

Michael Fassbender and Conor McCaughan’s London-based production company DMC Film has taken on producer Daniel Emmerson as it continues to grow.

DMC Film produced John Maclean’s Pitch Black Heist, which won the BAFTA for Best Short Film in 2012, and is currently in post production on his debut feature Slow West, which stars Fassbender and is backed by Film4 in co-production with See Saw Films.

Other projects include video game adaptation Assassin’s Creed with Ubisoft and New Regency due to start shooting in 2015 and the BBC Films backed Garagistas written by James Graham.

Emmerson brings with him a slate of projects and relationships with emerging talent including Fagin’s Kitchen, which is being co-developed with Film4 and will be directed by Kibwe Tavares and written by Daniel Kaluuya.
