Summit Entertainment has confirmed speculation that Bill Condon will direct The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Melissa Rosenberg is currently adapting the fourth novel in Meyer’s supernatural series and Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner return to their starring roles. Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Meyer will produce.

Condon’s credits include Dreamgirls, Kinsey, and Gods And Monsters.

The third film in the franchise, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, is scheduled to open on June 30.
