Fox Hill Productions has optioned feature rights to Andrew Klavan’s neo-noir thriller trilogy based on the books Dynamite Road, Shotgun Alley and Damnation Street.

Fox Hill’s Samantha Lusk, Andrew Hyatt and Seth David Mitchell will produce.

“We’re thrilled to be working with one of the masters of mystery,” said Lusk. “In Damnation Street, Klavan has crafted a story that not only presents a unique, gritty and hyper-real world, but also pays homage to the classic elements of the genre. This script does for noir what Unforgiven did for westerns.”

Damnation Street is a cat-and-mouse thriller that pits a private detective against a serial killer as they pursue a femme fatale.

Elsa Ramo negotiated the deal on behalf of Fox Hill and Linda Lichter represented Klavan. Frank Wuliger and Greg Pedicin of Gersh represent sales rights.
