Television network developer and distributor Olympusat has announced its production and restoration facility, Olympusat 360.

The facility has restored a catalogue of classic Spanish-language films and is broadening the service to encompass film, television shows, commercials and documentaries.

“Each movie is like a time capsule,” said president and CEO of Olympusat Tom Mohler.

“We capture it from the film negative, then turn it into a digital asset, which is forever restored in history – all while helping to preserve the iconic culture of Mexican and Latin American Cinema.”

Some of the films restored by Olympusat include:

  • La Escondida (1956);
  • Póker De Ases (1952);
  • Las Momias De San Angel (1973);
  • Los Campeones Justicieros (1971);
