Cuban-born telenovela star William Levy has been cast in the lead on the sci-fi adventure The Veil.

The project is currently in production and tells of a deadly warrior left for dead in a war-torn land who is adopted by a secret tribe.

William Moseley and Serinda Swan also star and Brent Ryan Green directs The Veil from a screenplay by Jeff Goldberg, who also produces.

“I have dreamed of doing a role like this since I was a kid,” said Levy. “The character of Warrior is so layered, and it is giving me a chance to show my full acting range. It’s an actor’s dream.”
