Belgium-German-Dutch co-production Tony Ten centres on a boy who will do anything to reunite his separated parents, even if he has to ask the Dutch Queen for help.The Dutch-language family film is currently shooting in central Germany under Mischa Kamp’s direction. It is being produced by Lemming Film, Ma.Ja.De. Filmproduktion, NPS Television and uFilm, with Meike Martens, Marleen Slot and Heiko Deckert as producers. Faas Wijn stars as young Tony, alongside Jeroen Spitzenberger, Rifka Lodeizen, Loek Peters and Anna Drijver. The screenplay was written by Mieke de Jong. Independent Films will release the feature in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands and Farbfilm will distribute in Germany.

Shooting is under way for Philippe Claudel’s second feature Tous les Soleils, starring Stefano Accorsi as an Italian teacher living in Strasbourg, who is trying to cope with being a single father to his teenage daughter while taking care of his lunatic brother and rebuilding his own love life. The cast also includes Anouk Aimee, Neri Marcor, Clothilde Courau and Lisa Cipriani. Claudel, who won multiple awards for his debut I’ve Loved You So Long, wrote the screenplay to this comedy-drama. Produced by Saïd Ben Saïd and Yves Marmion for UGC YM, the production is scheduled to wrap shooting at the end of August, with the French release planned for April 20, 2011 through UGC. TF1 International handles international sales.

Luxembourg’s Iris Productions, Austria’s Eclypse Filmpartner, Germany’s Film-Line and France’s Zen Productions are joining forces for the historical drama Forevermore (Für Immer Und Ewig - Grete Und Georg Trakl), based on the true story of the impossible love between a famous Viennese poet and a pianist: brother and sister Georg and Grete Trakl. Currently shooting in Vienna and Luxembourg, Christoph Stark is directing from a screenplay by Ursula Mauder. Lars Eidinger and Peri Baumeister head the cast as the ill-fated siblings.
