Twenty8k shoot underway in London; AV Pictures to handle sales

London-based sales agent AV Pictures has boarded Formosa Films’ thriller Twenty8k, which began principal photography in London today [April 21].

The six-week shoot will take place on location in London and at 3 Mills studios.

Parminder Nagra (Bend It Like Beckham, ER) stars in Twenty8k as a fashion executive who turns detective in order to clear her brother’s name. The supporting cast includes Stephen Armstrong, Stephen Dillane, Kierston Wareing, Kaya Scodelario, Nichola Burley and Michael Socha.

Scripted by Shameless writers Jimmy Dowdall and Paul Abbott, Twenty8k is directed by David Kew and Neil Thompson (Clubbed) and produced by Martin Carr and Thompson for Formosa Films.

The producer of the film’s R&B and hip-hop soundtrack is to be announced soon.
