Production is underway on Ryan Piers Williams’ X/Y starring America Ferrera, Williams, Ann Dowd, Melonie Diaz, Jon Paul Phillips, Dree Hemingway, Adam Rapp, Maria Dizzia, David Harbour and Common.

The film is shooting in New York and follows a group of friends as they struggle to communicate and connect.

Williams who won several awards for his previous effort The Dry Land, including best international film at the 2010 Edinburgh Film Festival.

Ferrera, Thomas B Fore, Jason Michael Berman, Williams and Kwesi Collisson produce X/Y.

Executive Producers are Mark G Mathis, Margo Johnston, Dori A Sperko, Paull Cho, Todd Feuer, Mike Feuer, Jason Silverman, Caroline Kaplan and Kim Gillingham.
