Los Angeles-based Metan Development Group has entered into a strategic relationship with China’s Beijing Ruyi Xinxin Film Investment Company under which they will work together on film and TV projects.

Founded in 2009, Ruyi Film is a subsidiary of China’s Ruyi Media Group. The company produces films and TV series in mainland China working with partners including China Film Group and Beijing Forbidden City Film Co.

Also founded in 2009, Metan is a venture created to develop and distribute entertainment content and media specifically for international markets. It was founded by Namer, who was a co-founder of E! Entertainment Television, along with former News Corp executive Martin Pompadur and Amerilink founder Jean Zhang.
