The world's largestco-production market, Rotterdam'sCinemart, has announced its line-up for the 24th edition, which will run fromJan 28 to Feb 1, 2007.

A total of 46 projects - upone from last year's tally of 45 - have been selected to present to an internationalaudience of up to 800 buyers, sales agents, distributors and fundrepresentatives. A record 520 projects were submitted for selection this year -and despite a growing number of co-production forums, 44 of the 46 are new tothe marketplace.

The titles range in budgetfrom the $5.5.m (A$7m) Black Oasis,directed by Priscilla, Queen of theDesert's Stephan Elliot and with Fortissimo attached as sales agent, to the$399,244 (Euros 300,000) Living Quietly by Tan Chi Mui, and run from scriptdevelopment phase to already-completed, including Bruce Weber's Robert Mitchumdocumentary Nice Girls Don't Stay ForBreakfast.

Other internationally knowndirectors presenting at Rotterdaminclude Kim Ki-duk (with Breath), Something LikeHappiness' Bodhan Slama with CountryTeacher, Garin Nugroho with ThisEarth Of Mankind, Arnaud Desplechin with Tromperie and visual artist Pippilotti Rist with his directorialdebut Pepperminta.

Returning Cinemart namesinclude Pablo Trapero, last year'sTiger Award competitor Alexis Dos Santos; Lav Diaz and Fien Troch, alongside newtalent including two upcoming female film-makers already selected for the TigerAwards competition of Rotterdam'sFilm Festival - Malaysia's Tan Chi Mui (LoveConquers All) and Chinese-born Xiaoliu Guo (How Is Your Fish Today'). Guo brings La Chinosie to Cinemart 2007 while Tan will present Living Quietly.
