The Brazilian film promotion body heads to Ventana Sur in Buenos Aires with a slate of 12 productions including Buddies by Marcelo Galvão and My Sweet Orange Tree from Marcos Bernstein.

The roster includes Selton Mello’s The Clown, which is Brazil’s official foreign language Oscar submission this year, as well as Three Kings’ Nights by Vinícius Reis; Less Than Nothing by Carlos Gerbase, Between Valleys by Philippe Barcinski and Beyond The World from Roberto Studart.

Rounding out the slate are Marighella by Isa Grinspum Ferraz, Peace In Rio by Cadu Barcellos, Luciano Vidigal, Rodrigo Felha and Wagner Novais, Neighboring Sounds by Kleber Mendonça, Tropicalia by Marcelo Machado and Super Nothing by Rubens Rewald.

Cinema do Brasil will also stage a networking event supported by Apex-Brasil, the Brazilian Trade And Investment Promotion Agency. 

“Ventana Sur is a market focused on the Latin American production and attracts distributors, sales agents, representatives of festivals and important film funds for the diffusion of our movies,” said Cinema do Brasil chairman André Sturm.

Ventana Sur is scheduled to run from Nov 30-Dec 3.
