Glen Basner’s FilmNation has virtually sold out international territories on The Joneses, Derrick Borte’s social satire that received its world premiere in Toronto.

Rights have gone to Entertainment One in the UK, UGC in France, Wild Bunch in Germany, Svensk in Scandinavia, Luxor in CIS, Sun Distribution in Latin America, and TVA in Canada.

Basner hopes to conclude deals in Italy and Eastern Europe in the next several days and has also reported strong interest from buyers in Spain, Australia and New Zealand.

Further deals closed with Italia for the Middle East, Shani for Israel, SSG for Taiwan, Multivision for Indonesia and Singapore, and Sahamongkol for Thailand.

ICM is holding talks with several US buyers and has arranged screenings in Los Angeles.

In The Joneses, Demi Moore, David Duchovny and Amber Heard play a seemingly perfect family who move into an affluent suburb as part of a subliminal marketing campaign.
