GK TV’s series Camelot, starring Eva Green and Joseph Fiennes, will launch at MIPTV (April 4- 7) in Cannes.

After the launch of the World Premiere Screenings at MIPCOM 2010, the second edition of the Screenings will launch with the international premiere of Camelot, the new series from Graham King’s TV production company GK TV.

The Irish-Canadian co-production Camelot will be presented by GK TV President Craig Cegielski.

The first two episodes of the GK TV and Starz Entertainment series — based on the King Arthur stories — will be screened in the Palais des Festival’s Grand Auditorium on April 4, followed by a Q&A with the cast.

“We’re delighted to introduce the Camelot TV series to the largest international audience of professionals at MIPTV’s World Premiere Screenings this year,” said Laurine Garaude, Director of Reed MIDEM’s Television Division. “Not only is Camelot an exceptional programme in terms of scale and ambition, but it’s also a major co-production, quite fitting this year’s special focus on co-production at MIPTV. Furthermore, it demonstrates a growing trend of premium TV series featuring major movie stars.”
