Digital entertainment content aggregator and distributor Gravitas Ventures has broadened its VOD pipeline through deals with The Film Sales Company, Submarine and others.

The company specialises in worldwide distribution on established and new media platforms and also signed agreements with Liberation Entertainment, Imagination Worldwide, Traction Media, Well Go USA, Zeitgeist Films, Empire Film Group, and Johnson Production Group.

“Working with so many industry leaders will enable us to deliver more than 250 programmes to the VOD marketplace in both 2009 and 2010 and allow film lovers across North America an increased selection of theatrically released films and audience approved movies straight from their film festival premieres,” Nolan Gallagher, Gravitas Ventures founder and CEO, said.

Gravitas Ventures’ cable and VOD partners include Warner Bros Digital Distribution, AT&T U-Verse, iTunes, Amazon VOD, Charter Communications, Comcast, Cox Communications, Rogers Cable Inc, Time Warner Cable, and Verizon FiOS TV.
