Ashok Amritraj’s Hyde Park International (HPI) has announced sales deals on several films it took to the Cannes market.

Midnight Sun, a family adventure directed by Hugh Hudson, has been sold to Medusa for Italy, Alliance Atlantis for Canada, Pa-dora for Eastern Europe and Lumix for South Korea.

The company’s untitled Elmore Leonard project, with Jennifer Aniston and Dennis Quaid starring in a story based on the crime writer’s The Switch, sold to Arum for Spain, Italia for multiple territories, Pa-Dora for Eastern Europe, Swen for Latin America and Top Film for the CIS/Russian territories.

HPI said it sold Adult World and Sunlight Jr, for both of which it screened promos at the market, to multiple territories and placed its entire slate in Portugal, the Middle East, Turkey, Latin America and South Asia.

HPI Vice President John Short commented: “We are very pleased that the buyers responded so well in a number of territories. It proves that quality entertainment is appreciated by the distributors and the global audience.”
