New York-based Lorber Films has acquired all North American rights to Kimjongilia and North American theatrical, TV, video and educational rights to Nobody’s Perfect.

N C Heikin’s documentary Kimjongilia premiered at Sundance and chronicles stories from survivors of North Korea’s prison camps.

Lorber Films’ vice-president of acquisitions Elizabeth Sheldon negotiated the deal with Ryan Kampe of Visit Films.

Nobody’s Perfect from Niko von Glasow follows the film-maker as he searches for 11 other people affected by Thalidomide to join him in posing naked for a book of photographs.

Lorber CEO and president Richard Lorber and Sheldon brokered the deal with Oliver Mahrdt on behalf of von Glasow and Autlook Films.
