The zombie satire will screen at the Miami International Film Festival which runs from Mar 2-11.

Outsider Pictures will open the film theatrically in Miami shortly after the festival in an exclusive run at Miami Dade College’s Tower Theater. 

Outside co-founder Paul Hudson negotiated the deal with CEO Alfredo Calvino of Guadalajara-based Latinfusion.

Alejandro Brugués directed and Alexis Díaz de Villegas stars in the Havana-set tale about marauding Americans who land on Cuba in an attempt to undermine the regime.

“It’s a satirical look at the present-day streets of the controversial regime and we’re excited to add it to our diverse catalogue of films,” Hudson said. “And it’s a great zombie film too.”
