The 3D film of Michael Flatley’s stage phenomenon will arrive on screens around the world on St Patrick’s Day – March 17, 2011.

London and New York-based sports, music and alternative content global rights owner SuperVision Media is distributing directly in the US, Europe and South Africa and may use a sub-distributor in Australia.

South America and Asia will follow shortly after the St Patrick’s Day release.

UK-based 3D production company Nineteen Fifteen Productions created the content in association with ITN Productions. Kaleidoscope will distribute across non-theatrical platforms.

“Between the grand scale of the show, transforming it into 3D, total access to the cast, Lord Of The Dance In 3D creates an experience as if the audience is right with me on stage,” Flatley said.

“Never before and perhaps never again will anyone be able to experience Lord Of The Dance like this. We have toured all over the world for almost two decades, however there have been cities that we could not accommodate due to the grand scale of the production. Now with a 3D movie we are finally able to reach those audiences and I promise we won’t disappoint.”
