Dir. BT Meza
Jessica Rothe leads this US sci-fi horror — the debut feature of director Meza — about a woman who is afflicted by violent seizures that reset her memory without warning. Meza also produces alongside Bay Dariz, Austin Walk and JP Ouellette under the Superconductive banner.

Alone Together
Dir. Ben Sharrock
Callum Turner, Adria Arjona and Amir El-Masry star in the follow-up to Sharrock’s debut Limbo. Alone Together will be produced by The Father and The Son filmmaker Florian Zeller with Federica Sainte-Rose through their France-US outfit Blue Morning Pictures. It is a comic tale of self-discovery in which two strangers’ lives collide during a rare storm in a desert city. The film is set to shoot in the Oman desert in March 2026.

The Arrival
Dir. Bijan Sheibani
Kingsley Ben-Adir, Archie Madekwe, Joanna Scanlan and Alex Descas lead the cast of the debut feature from award-winning UK theatre director Sheibani. The Arrival is based on his play of the same name and charts the reunion of two long-lost brothers. DMC Film and House Productions produce.

Back In Black
Dir. Ron Murphy
Christopher Walken, Ella Ballentine and Jane Curtin star in this comedy set in a small US town. A wellness craze means that no-one is dying, so a funeral director is going broke. Murphy is also a producer on the film, and VVS Films will distribute in Canada.

Croak
Dirs. Christiaan Van Vuuren, Connor Van Vuuren
When a boom-to-bust mining town is terrorised by a giant mutant cane toad, a gang of misfit teenagers must band together to defeat the monster and the company that created it. Kate Box, Felix Cameron, Justin Rosniak and Davida McKenzie star. The Australian creature feature is produced by Jungle Entertainment, with Midwinter Films co-producing.

Dogs Of War
Dir. Kiah Roache-Turner
Beast Of War filmmaker Roache-Turner continues his exploration of the Second World War with Dogs Of War. Inspired by real events, the film plunges a squad of British commandos into a Nazi-controlled forest, deep in the wintry Eastern Front. Daniel Webber and Bart Edwards star, with shooting set to take place at the start of 2026 in Australia and Bulgaria. Bronte Studios produces and handles Australia & New Zealand and North American sales.

This Australian psychological horror and feature directorial debut is set in the Outback, where a father and daughter come up against an invisible force that leads to a life-or-death struggle. Alyla Browne stars, with Sam Price producing for Pathline Pictures.

Hey Bear
Dir. Jonathan Krisel
Mia Goth, Zach Galifianakis and Dan Stevens star in this revenge comedy about a woman who recruits a socially awkward park ranger to help her despatch a grizzly bear that killed her husband. Alix Madigan produces out of the US. WME Independent and UTA Independent Film Group represent North American sales.

Ibelin
Dir. Morten Tyldum
Charlie Plummer, Stephen Graham, Toni Collette and Anthony Hopkins star in this feature based on the life of Mats Steen, a young Norwegian man with a degenerative muscular disease who secretly inhabited an inspiring alter ego in the World Of Warcraft online video game. It is produced by Vendôme Pictures and Pathé, and follows Sundance 2024 documentary The Remarkable Life Of Ibelin.

In Love
Dir. Paul Weitz
George Clooney and Annette Bening headline a love story about two people who must make an impossible decision. It is based on the book In Love: A Memoir Of Love And Loss by Amy Bloom, about her husband’s experience of Alzheimer’s disease. Producers are Depth of Field, Sight Unseen, Clooney’s Smokehouse Pictures and Anton. The latter is fully financing and represents international rights (US is co-repped by Anton and CAA Media Finance).

Killa Bee

Daisy Ridley headlines a sports thriller inspired by the real-life story of Bryony Tyrell, a nurse by day and MMA fighter by night. Producers are Knockout Productions in association with Picture Perfect and Moviehouse Entertainment.

Kockroach
Dir. Matt Ross
Channing Tatum, Taron Egerton and Zazie Beetz star in the New York-set story of a mysterious stranger who takes on the city’s underworld, transforming himself into a larger-than-life crime boss. Andrew Lazar produces through Mad Chance alongside Kevin Frakes. Black Bear represents international rights; CAA Media Finance and Range Select co-represent the US.

Love Language

Chloë Grace Moretz leads the cast of this romantic comedy in post-production. Following a failed engagement, a woman discovers she has a talent for writing other people’s wedding vows. Producers are Ari Lubet for 3 Arts Entertainment, Colin Jost and Jeff Grosvenor for No Notes Productions, and Bert Hamelinck and Allison Hironaka for Caviar.

Man Vs
Dir. Justin Martinez
Kyle Gallner stars in this US monster horror film set in an unforgiving Rocky Mountain winter, where an injured Gold Rush miner must use everything at his disposal to survive the elements. Producers are Roy Lee and Steven Schneider for Spooky Pictures, Chad Villella, and Stephen Braun and Ross Putman for Bee-Hive Productions.

The Remedy
Dir. Alex Kahuam
13 Reasons Why star Timothy Granaderos leads the cast of this horror film about a troubled young man who makes a desperate attempt to save his mother and inadvertently unleashes a monstrous supernatural entity in the process. The US film is produced by the director for Kahuam Films, and writer Daniel Kuhlman for Breakwall Pictures.

Shark! Shark! Shark!
Dir. Simon Berry
UK-US filmmaker Berry’s feature debut is a horror thriller about a man stuck with an apex predator in a deadly time loop, as he searches for his missing sister in the Bermuda Triangle. Altitude produces and is selling the project. Casting is underway.

The Stunt Driver
Dir. Michael Dowse
Jay Baruchel plays Ken Carter, the real-life 1970s stunt driver who attempted a feat that would see him jump from Canada into the US. Jennifer Wilson is producing for Canada’s Film Cardinal, the outfit she shares with filmmaker Dowse. UTA Independent Film Group will represent North American sales. Ed Helms and Ben Foster also star.

The Turning Door
Dir. Nicholas Ashe Bateman
Alicia Vikander, Jamie Dornan, Jodie Turner-Smith, Bill Nighy and Gillian Anderson lead the voice cast of the US family fantasy animation, produced by 2AM and Maere Studios. A young girl is sent to bed as a party is in full swing downstairs. She slips into her parents’ room and discovers an ornate wooden box, opening a door to a magical world.

Shailene Woodley leads the cast of this psychological thriller, set during an ultramarathon in Death Valley. Allison Rose Carter and Jon Read produce for US outfit Savage Rose Films, with Iris Torres. WME Independent handles US sales on the project, which is inspired by a true story.

Veins
Dir. Raymond St-Jean
This Canadian French-language geriatric body horror has its world premiere this month in competition at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, and is produced by Canada’s Nicolas Comeau through 1976 Productions. A woman arrives home for the weekend to discover her father has been dead and buried for three days, while her mother is behaving strangely. Romane Denis is among the cast.
