Warner Bros said at its CinemaCon session on Tuesday that the new specialty division led by Christian Parkes will be called Warner Bros Clockwork and has lined up its first release for 2027 – Sean Baker’s Ti Amo!

Baker will write, direct, edit, cast, and produce the original feature and reteams with Anora producers Alex Coco and Samantha Quan. The team’s production companies, Cre Film and Rapt Film are producing.

FilmNation Entertainment is financing the project, reuniting with Baker after the Oscar-winning Anora. Warner Bros Clockwork has acquired global rights excluding France.

“Sean Baker is an artist who embodies everything we believe in at Clockwork, and Ti Amo! will be another gift to cinema. Plus, his poster game is on point,” said Parkes, who reports to Warner Bros motion picture group co-heads Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy.

Warner Bros Clockwork’s remit covers independently-produced and acquired projects, in-house feature development, and the restoration of classic Warner Bros films for worldwide theatrical release.

Warner Bros Clockwork’s head of production & acquisition Jason Wald, Warner Bros. EVP of business affairs Erik Elner negotiated the deal with attorney Jamie Feldman on behalf of the filmmakers and Laine Kline on behalf of FilmNation.
