The company announced on Monday (12) that it had almost sold out its John Cusack-Robert De Niro thriller in the aftermath of the AFM in Santa Monica.

Rights went to Metropolitan in France, Nikkatsu in Japan and Universal in Spain and Scandinavia. Red Granite International also said they had deals in the UK, Germany and Latin America but had not revealed the buyers at time of writing.

Cusack plays a hitman hired by a mysterious client for an assignment in the Delta bayou. Rebecca Da Costa also stars.

David Grovic directed Motel from a screenplay he co-wrote with Paul Conway and James Russo. Peter Graves and Warren Ostergard produced.
