British crime drama iLL Manors has picked up the best film score prize at the Music+Sound Awards.

At the ceremony in London, the film directed by Ben Drew (aka Plan B) beat competition from Brave, Snow White and the Huntsman, Ted and Moonrise Kingdom.

Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom did pick up a prize later for Best Sync for a Film Soundtrack.

The ceremony was hosted by comedian Tom Webb and featured entertainment by Duologue and The Heavy, who recently sound tracked various films including the trailers for Ted, The Fighter and 21 Jump Street.

The Music+Sound Awards are the first of its kind, featuring categories to include the widest possible use of music and sound in visual media. Entries range from television and cinema commercials to advertising, branding and title sequence as well as feature films and computer games.
