
Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap, the US producer of Saltburn and Barbie, is launching the London-based film and TV division LuckyChap International as a joint venture with European studio Mediawan Group.
The entity will be led by Mona Qureshi, who joins after serving as director of scripted series at Netflix UK, and Tanya Qureshi, who is presently drama commissioning editor at the BBC.
The sisters will serve as co-managing directors, international at the company, which will officially launch in January 2026 and will operate across the UK and Europe.
Between them, Mona Qureshi and Tanya Qureshi have credits including I May Destroy You, The Night Manager and Adolescence.
The pair will oversee creative and day-to-day operations for the company, with a main focus on television. The company said it will build out a broader team across film and television in the coming months.
LuckyChap, run by Robbie, Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara and Milan Popelka, majority owns and controls the company. Its upcoming projects include Emerald Fennell’s highly anticipated Wuthering Heights, which will be released by Warner Bros in February 2026.

The Mediawan Group is home to over 80 production labels including Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment, UK-Australia outfit See-Saw Films, the UK’s Drama Republic and Misfits, Italy’s Palomar and Our Films, and Germany’s Leonine Studios, with distribution arm Mediawan Rights handling distribution for much of its content.
Mona Quereshi started her career as an assistant at BBC Films in the late 1990s, with subsequent stints at UK outfits Ruby Films and The Ink Factory.
Tanya Quereshi’s BBC drama slate includes Riot Women from Sally Wainwright and the upcoming Waiting for the Out from Dennis Kelly through Sister Pictures.
