
Screen International’s Global Production Awards, in association with sister brands Screen Global Production and Broadcast, will return for 2026.
The Global Production Awards celebrate outstanding and sustainable work in film and TV production, locations and studios from around the world.
The awards ceremony will take place during the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on May 18.
Entries will open on January 12, with the qualifying period September 1 2024 - March 13 2026.
The 2026 categories are:

- Sustainable production award (film)
- Sustainable production award (TV)
- City of film
- Diversity, equity and inclusion award
- Economic and social impact award
- Emerging location
- Film commission of the year (city/region)
- Film commission of the year (country)
- Impact leadership award
- Innovation award
- Location of the year (natural)
- Location of the year (site/man-made)
- Outstanding use of locations
- Studio of the year
- Special recognition award
This year’s winners included Focus Features and Universal Pictures’ Touch, the Spanish film commission and the UK’s Garden Studios.
