In a late addition, Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF, September 10-20) has scheduled a world premiere special screening of Zack Snyder’s The Last Photograph for September 13.
The feature shot in Los Angeles and Colombia in 2025 with the support of the South American country’s CINA transferable tax credit, which offers a tax discount certificate for 35% of the total investment in the country.
The Last Photograph follows a former DEA agent as he tries to rescue his niece and nephew from a mountainous region after their diplomat parents are killed. Stuart Martin and Fra Free star in the latest feature from the director of Justice League, Watchmen, and Man Of Steel.
Producers The Stone Quarry and Hollywood Gang Productions worked alongside production services company Jaguar Bite.
The premiere will take place in John Bassett Theatre, a new screening venue for TIFF situated at Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
