The first feature to come out of Madden’s new UK production company Evolved Pictures will be a British thriller about an ex Gulf War soldier, written and directed by Paul Knight.

The cast of A Landscape Of Lies includes UK TV presenter Andrea McLean in her first film role, ex Eastenders actor Marc Bannerman, Footballers Wives actress Helen Latham and newcomer Andre Samson.

Samson plays an ex soldier struggling to adjust to life after the Gulf War, but when his commanding officer is killed in a suspected mugging, he sets about trying to find the truth.

The film is being produced by Aoife Madden through her new production company Evolved-Pictures along with Knight for his company New Breed Productions. Filming began in London on Aug 1.

Meanwhile, Madden has 5 other projects in development for Evolved Pictures - a comedy drama centred around the Olympics, two horrors, a thriller and a sci-fi.
