Riding high after their debut feature Crazy Heart won two Academy Awards including a best actor win for Jeff Bridges, Informant Media partners Judy Cairo, Michael A Simpson and Eric Brenner have unveiled their 2010 production slate.

The roster includes Hysteria, a romantic comedy by Stephen and Jonah Lisa Dyer about the invention of the vibrator in Victorian England. The film will be shot in London and Luxembourg this summer and stars Rupert Everett and Jonathan Pryce.

Two further stars will be announced shortly and Tanya Wexler will direct. Informant is producing with Beachfront Films’ Tracey Becker (Finding Neverland) and Forthcoming Films’ Sarah Curtis (Mansfield Park). Elle Driver is the international sales agent.

Boobytrap is a thriller written by Michael A Simpson based on the novel of the same name by Bill Pronzini about a young prosecutor’s wife and child who are trapped inside their home.

Informant is producing in association with Atchity Entertainment, Original Pictures and Fierce Entertainment. Stunt coordinator and second unit director Nick Powell will make his directorial debut and the project is out to casting. The Little Film Company is handling international sales.

Thriller The Expatriate is based on an original screenplay by Arash Amel about a father and his estranged daughter who have to rely on each other as they flee a hit squad. CAA is packaging the project, which will be shot in Europe. Informant will produce with Harry Winer’s Smash Media.

Informant has also added a new partner, producer Howard Meltzer (Tenderness), who brings 25 years’ producing experience to the company
