The financing, production and sales company has hired David Koplan as head of physical production and development.

Koplan, an experience producer whose credits include Thanks For Sharing [pictured] and served as executive producer on the forthcoming untitled Hugh Grant and Marisa Tomei rom-com, will work closely with Red Granite Pictures chairman Riza Aziz and vice-chairman Joey McFarland.

His first assignment at Red Granite will be Dumb And Dumber To starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels.

“We are pleased to be adding such a talented film executive to our team who shares the same vision as Red Granite Pictures and will lend well to expanding our slate,” said Aziz.
