Fred Durst, the former frontman of US rock band Limp Bizkit, is lining up the action caper Pawn Shop Chronicles.

The project charts the mayhem that ensues when a wedding ring goes missing and meth addicts, skinheads and an Elvis impersonator enter the fray.

This will be Durst’s third directorial outing after The Education Of Charlie Banks starring Oscar nominee Jesse Eisenberg and The Longshots with ice Cube.

Lionsgate has been introducing the project to buyers here and are also talking about the upcoming Kim Jee-woon project Last Stand with Liam Neeson attached to star and BFF And Baby.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing Last Stand, about a man on the run from the FBI who escapes in a superfast car.

BFF And Baby is set to star Kate Bosworth, Krysten Ritter and Rachel Bilson and is currently in post. The comedy follows a party girl who gets a rude awakening when a one-night-stand leads to pregnancy. Kat Cioro is directing.
