EXCLUSIVE: The first feature on the slate will be January, a co-production with Face Films.

Sales agent Jessica Malik and production executive Jessica Parker are in Cannes to launch their new British production company Pari Passu Films (PPF).

The first feature to come out of the company will be January, a co-production with Face Films starring Nora-Jane Noone, James Cosmo, Amy Manson and Simon Quaterman. Shooting begins on May 16.

Other projects on the slate include a Corin Hardy film and an adaptation of a novel which they will co-produce with Parallel Films.

Malik started at Capitol Films in sales and marketing before starting up sales Company Th!nk Film International with Eve Schoukroun. Most recently she worked at Exclusive Films International as senior sales executive.

Parker began in production going on to work for Isle of Man production and financing company CinemaNX.

PPF promises to offer strategic partnership opportunities and consultation to secure key financing, sales and co-production deals.
