Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment (SKE) are teaming up on their third project and the second to star Katherine Heigl, the epic romance Adaline.
The partners are co-financing and co-producing the project, developed by Steve Golin’s Anonymous Content and SKE. Anonymous’ Steve Golin and Alix Madigan are producing with Lakeshore’s and Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi.
Mills Goodloe and Sal Pascowitz’s screenplay centres on a mysterious woman rendered ageless for the past century who considers risking her life to regain her mortality when she falls in love.
The producers are out to directors and talent. Katherine Heigl, Nancy Heigl and SKE president Jim Tauber are on board as executive producers.
“We’re on a roll with Tom and Gary at Lakeshore,” Sidney Kimmel said. “This is a project Anonymous brought to us, and we brought to Lakeshore, and it just clicked. We’re excited about this and about working with Katherine Heigl on back-to-back projects.”
“We’re moving very quickly on this one,” Rosenberg said. “We all love it. We hope to have all the pieces in place in a short time.”
Lakeshore and SKE are also producing and financing the upcoming Katherine Heigl film One For The Money for Lionsgate to distribute, and The Lincoln Lawyer.
