Shooting has begun on sci fi thriller Stranded, starring Christian Slater, in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Directed by Roger Christian, the film centres around a group of astronauts who are placed in danger when a meteor collides with their base. Shooting will take place in the Canada Saskatchewan Production Studio in Regina SK.
The film also stars Amy Matysio, Michael Therriault and Brendan Fehr.
Producers are Kevin DeWalt, Mark Montague and Isabella Battiston with Danielle Masters associate producing. The film is a Minds Eye Entertainment production in association with Moving Pictures Media.
eOne is handling Canadian distribution rights. Cinemavault has international rights with US rights being handled by Image Entertainment.
