Two Lefts Don’t Make A Right Productions has announced new development projects involving director Doug Liman, actor Stanley Tucci and comics creator Stan Lee.

Liman will direct Attica, an inside view of the 1971 Attica prison riot written by Oscar winner Geoffrey Fletcher. Liman and David Bartis will produce under their Hypnotic banner together with Peter Schafer, CEO of Sunrise Pictures, which is funding the project’s development.

Elliot Abbott, who founded Two Lefts Don’t Make A Right with S2BN Entertainment chairman Michael Cohl, will executive produce with Avram Ludwig.

Tucci is set to play the title role in Ed Lucas, a film inspired by the true story of a blind sports writer. Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel are writing the script and Robert Greenhut and Wren Arthur, Tucci’s Olive Productions partner, will produce with Abbott and Cohl.

Abbott and Cohl are teaming with Stan Lee and Gill Champion of POW! Entertainment on
The Retaliator (working title), about an ordinary man given the powers of the elements and charged with protecting the Earth’s ecosystem. Jim Hart and Jake Hart are writing the script.

Karol Martesko-Fenster, president of film and media, will oversee the projects for S2BN.
