Soho Film & Media Group is to take over London-based talent agency Actors International Ltd (AIL), when AIL’s director Kay Potter retires in March.
The Group’s talent agency arm SFM Management, which has branches in London and LA, will merge the majority of its clients into AIL and retain the existing Actors International brand.
AIL will be run by Soho Film & Media Group CEO Lee Thomas and business partner Caroline Taylor.
Thomas, who also heads up UK production company Soho Films said: “We are delighted to acquire an agency with the reputation of Actors International and our combined client list will now see us offering representation to more than 130 clients worldwide.”
AIL director Kay Potter added that she was “delighted that the business will continue under dynamic new management when I retire in March, and pleased that our clients will continue to be represented by Actors International – the company I have built up over the past ten years with my partners Ruth Robinson and Alan Carter.”
