The Film Department has hired Peter Chelsom to direct The Perfect Man, a remake of Luca Lucini's 2005 comedy L'Uomo Perfetto.

Di Novi Pictures is producing the English-language version and Denise Di Novi, Alison Greenspan, Mark Gill and Robert Katz will serve as producers while Neil Sacker and Michael Goguen are executive producers.
Chelsom's credits include Shall We Dance and Serendipity. McGuinness is attached to direct the Upper East Side comedy Not Our Class, Dear being produced by Di Novi and Greenspan. She is also developing a comedy pilot for Sony with Jamie Tarses producing.
