The new service from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will allow download of more than 600 Fox films in the US on Amazon, CinemaNow, Google Play, iTunes, PlayStation, VUDU, Xbox Live and YouTube. 

Prometheus is available immediately for $14.99 some three weeks before it arrives on Blu-ray, DVD and VoD. Customers will be able to watch films on HDTV, tablet or smartphone.

Other available recent releases include Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Ice Age: Continental Drift and The Watch.
