Andreas Wiseman has joined Screen International as a reporter. Wiseman has worked on a freelance basis at Screen International since 2009.

He has been instrumental in implementing European productions database Screenbase, and managing parts of the ScreenDaily website.
 
Based in the company’s London headquarters, he reports to Screen editor Mike Goodridge and head of news Wendy Mitchell and will be contributing copy across a wide range of topics.
 
“We are very happy to welcome Andreas to this fulltime position on Screen,” said Goodridge. “He has great enthusiasm and aptitude for both the Screen brand and the film business and he will be a valuable addition to the editorial team.”
 
Wiseman previously worked on the production team of Jane Campion’s Bright Star, was a researcher and blogger for Ralph Fiennes’ Coriolanus and has worked on a number of short films.
 
He spent time at the BBC, Literary Review, Independent and Index On Censorship, and has written film reviews for various websites.
