The acquisition will strengthen AAM’s presence in the Nordic region.

London based digital distribution provider Arts Alliance Media (AAM) has announced that it has acquired a controlling interest in Nordic Digital Alliance (NDA), the joint venture established by AAM and a consortium of Norwegian businesses to roll out digital cinema in Norway and develop cinema advertising solutions.

AAM has been the largest shareholder in the company, which has already installed 76 digital screens in Norway. AAM will use the acquisition as a launch pad for further Nordic expansion, following a Virtual Print Fee deal with Finnkino.

Howard Kiedaisch, CEO of Arts Alliance Media, said: “Having had an interest in NDAs business we have been very aware of their achievements and see their campaign to be a great piece of software, but only the beginning opportunity.”
