ARC Entertainment takes US rights to Whole Lotta Sole
EXCLUSIVE: The distributor plans a day-and-date theatrical and VoD release this autumn after striking a low seven-figure deal with WME Global’s Deborah McIntosh and Graham Taylor.
Brendan Fraser stars in the tale of a botched fish market robbery that leads to the involvement of the police and a vengeful gangster. Richard Guardian is consulting on international sales on behalf of Lightning Entertainment.
Whole Lotta Sole earned a strong response from its world premiere in Tribeca and WME Global fielded multiple offers in the run-in to Cannes.
Martin McCann, Colm Meaney, YaYa DaCosta and David O’Hara also star. Terry George directed and co-wrote the screenplay with Thomas Gallagher and produced with Simon Bosanquet, David Gorder and Jay Russell.
The day-and-date theatrical and VoD model has served ARC well in the past on releases such as John Carpenter’s The Ward, Bunraku and Ironclad.
