He will receive the award on June 27 as part of CineEurope in Barcelona.

Dave Hollis [pictured], executive vice president, theatrical exhibition sales & distribution at Disney, is to receive CineEurope’s 2013 International Distributor of the Year award.

He will receive the award at a ceremony held during CineEurope in Barcelona on June 27.

Hollis is responsible for Disney’s global motion picture sales and distribution efforts for all films released under Disney, Pixar, Disneynature, Marvel, Touchstone Pictures Pictures and Lucasfilm banners.

He has been with Disney for 11 years, overseeing distribution on blockbusters including Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Marvel’s The Avengers and Iron Man 3.
