E1 Entertainment US has acquired North American rights from New York-based The Vladar Company to Vlad Yudin’s Last Day Of Summer.

The comedy stars DJ Qualls, Nikki Reed and William Sadler and centres on a downtrodden fast food employee who plots revenge on his boss on the last day of summer.

E1 Entertainment US is planning a limited theatrical release this summer to be followed by home video distribution in the autumn.

E1 Entertainment director of worldwide acquisitions Sejin Park negotiated directly with Yudin’s The Vladar Company, which aims to become a leading producer of varied genres and make a minimum of six features over five year.
