Film won award at Weekend of Terror festival.

Jinga Films has sold all rights to Darren Ward’s violent crime thriller A Day of Violence to MVD for North America and Illusions Unlimited for German-speaking Europe.

The British gangster film recently won the Golden Glib award at the Weekend of Terror festival in Germany.

The story follows a debt collector with a dark past who finds a lump of cash that he hopes will provide redemption; a gang wants their money back.

The US release is planned for Aug 21 and German-speaking Europe in October.
