Kino Lorber has acquired all US rights to Bruno Dumont’s Li’l Quinquin ahead of the North American premiere in Toronto on September 10.

Li’l Quinquin premiered in Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes and follows a hapless police inspector on the trail of provincial murderers. Bernard Pruvost, Philippe Jore and Alane Delhaye star.

The film will also play at the New York Film Festival as a special screening.

Kino Lorber brokered the deal with international sales agent NDM International Sales.  

Li’l Quinquin has been set for theatrical release in the first quarter of 2015.
