LA-based distributor MultiVisionnaire Pictures has launched the specialty label Fringe Features here.
The new division will shop “envelope-pushing content” comprising international arthouse, risqué festival favorites and GLBT and gender-related features.
The label launches with a slate of 20 titles including Slamdance and Outfest 2010 dramedy The Four-Faced Liar, Carl Medland’s UK dramedy Cost Of Love, UK comedy KickOff from Rikki Beadle and Jana Mattioli’s US drama Affirmative Act.
“Our label will have a dedicated presence at all international film markets, where specialty distributors and festival programmers can count on us to bring fresh and exciting films” MultiVisionnaire managing director Erika Kao-Haley, said.
